Former Kenyan Premier League champions Sofapaka staged a strong comeback to eventually beat KCB 2-1 in a Sunday 19 February 2012 game played at the Nyayo National Stadium.
The game started on a high note with Sofapaka trying to get the kill early in the match.
It was however KCB who got the first goal through their fresh signing Jacob Kelli in the 43rd minute to send them 1-0 ahead by the break.

Sofapaka shares point with Karuturi

Sofapaka on Sunday 12 February opened the 2012 season with a draw against Karuturi in Naivasha
The host team was the first to penetrate the Sofapaka defence but their effort did not result into a goal .
There was sign of brilliance from both sides, and once again Bob Mugalia was a thorn in the flesh of the Karuturi Defence.

Sofapaka Clubs Colourful Price Giving Ceremony

The club had a colourful prize giving ceremony on friday evening which was held at intercontinental Nairobi Hotel.
International striker Bob Mugalia was awarded as the best player of the year after having a successful season last year.
John Baraza won the best striker prize followed by Humphrey Mieno who was the best midfielder,

A Season for Sofapaka

The new Sofapaka football director Francis Kimanzi has tipped the team to do well this season.
Kimanzi said the team is capable of improving on last season’s performance after a great signing of players.
“The team looks strong and mature meaning they are well positioned to go for the title,” he said.
